Great music takes center stage again in the splendid setting of Villa Cagnola with a new and thrilling edition of the series Music in Villa Cagnola 2026. A date now eagerly awaited by enthusiasts, able each year to combine artistic quality, refined repertoires and renowned performers in one of the area’s most evocative venues.
From June to September, audiences can enjoy a musical journey spanning eras, styles and different sounds: from classical music to jazz, from opera to singer-songwriter music, from great symphony orchestras to international chamber ensembles.
Opening the series will be the concert dedicated to Mozart and the violin concertos, with the Orchestra I Cameristi del Verbano and the celebrated violinist Giuliano Carmignola, an internationally acclaimed artist. Many top-level events will follow, such as the Orchestra Giovanile della Svizzera Italiana’s “Summer Concert”, the elegant jazz evening “Singer-songwriter songs in jazz” with the Unity Music Project Big Band, and the engaging “Diary of a musical journey” by the Civico Liceo Musicale “R. Malipiero”.

The program will continue with the orchestral elegance of I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, featured in the concert “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and with the extraordinary Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, joined by the young violin talent Giuseppe Gibboni in the concert “La campanella”.
There will be no shortage of original, cross-genre events such as “Intrecci bislacchi” by the Quintetto Bislacco, the rousing “Fiesta Gitana” by the Quintetto Pucela Brass, the famous operetta “Cin Ci Là”, the tribute to Fabrizio De André by VIAdelCAMPO, and the concert “The Sound of Peace”, dedicated to the values of peace and integration among peoples.
Ample space will also be given to the operatic voice with “Under the Sign of Mozart” and “Echi d’inCanto”, while the traditional Rassegna Bandistica will close the calendar, involving leading musical groups from the area.
Musica in Villa Cagnola is not only a concert series, but a cultural experience able to move and bring people together, immersed in the unique atmosphere of Villa Cagnola. A special chance to enjoy evenings of great music under the stars, amid art, history and passion.
